ART TRAIL – HAILSHAM FESTIVAL EVENT Wednesday 10th – Sunday 21st September, Open Daily, Free


Lime Cross will be displaying a selection of local artwork both inside and out as part of the Hailsham Festival of Arts & Culture.  Original prints, gouache, watercolours, quirky animal illustrations, stone and metal sculpture will all be on display.  Artwork and cards available for purchase.  ‘Meet the Artists’ evening on Wednesday 10th Sept, 6pm - 9.30pm. Artists include; Benjamin Phillips, who will be available to draw live portraits, Jo Ansell , Charlotte Matthews , Ian O'Halloran , Christian Funnell, Chris Murphy and Mary Murphy

Wild Feast Foraging and Wild Food Cooking Session- with Sarah. Sunday 7th September, 7-9pm in the Café




Using autumnal foraged fruits and seeds, Sarah of Wild Feast will demonstrate how to create delicious food and drinks, such as a ‘Wild Kir Royale’, with an introduction to identifying edible wild plants. La Tomatina Lime Cross Wednesday 27th August, 6.30 – 9pm



Nursery owner, Vicky Tate, will give a light-hearted presentation of her experiences on growing tomatoes this year followed by a tour of the Propagation House where hers are grown.  Watch Rupert’s Paella making demonstration before sampling this delicious dish with a complimentary glass of Spanish wine. Optional tomato wrestling session!
