Established in 1946, our family-run Nursery nestles in 30 acres of
botanical surroundings, a garden paradise with an enviable
reputation for growing the finest conifers, trees, shrubs, climbers,
and grasses as well as supplying an extensive range of plants and
sundries for the discerning gardener. Those same skills are reflected in
our Café where you’ll discover we’re equally passionate about
providing locally-sourced, tasty and home-cooked fare. For example
all of our meat is supplied by local butchers and farmers where possible;
our eggs from Jo Angear in Church Road, Herstmonceux; and our
bread from Falcone in Seaford. We want our recipes to
inspire you to grow, cook and eat your own food. Incorporating
vegetables, herbs, salad and fruit from the Nursery, and the finest
Sussex produce, we serve scrumptious breakfasts, morning
coffee, homemade cakes, light lunches, proper lunches from our daily changing specials board and afternoon tea.
